Interroll offers a comprehensive range of dynamic storage solutions for pallet flow and carton flow that make picking and shipping processes much more efficient. They save up to 50 percent space and reduce travel distances by up to 80 percent.

The global provider of material handling solutions offers platform-based and proven Pallet Flow and Carton Flow solutions that can be configured for first-in, first-out (FIFO) as well as -last-in, first-out (LIFO) applications. Interroll’s Pallet Flow and Carton Flow solutions are compatible with racking systems worldwide and provide ideal picking solutions that can be combined with conveyors, automatic stacker cranes and paperless pick-to-light systems.

Interroll Pallet Flow features the unique Magnetic Speed Controller, MSC 80, that significantly reduces the risk of damaging goods conveyed on gravity roller conveyor sections and is maintenance free, easy to install and highly efficient. The MSC 80 is a mechanical speed-reduction solution that is integrated in a roller and based on the eddy current braking principle. It allows a throughput of up to 90 pallets per hour and can be operated in FIFO as well as LIFO systems. A great help here is Interroll’s pedal-less Time Plus Separator that ensures easy removal of the first pallet before the next pallet rolls to the pick position. Equipped with a time delay, it increases safety for operator and goods and reduces the risk of damages. It can be used for individual pallet weights of up to 1.25 tons and up to 20 tons in accumulation.

Interroll’s new Carton Wheel Flow beds are designed for simple installation with dramatically reduced mounting time. On top of that, the pick-to-light-system can be now easily placed.

In 2018, Interroll revised the bed frame design of its Carton Wheel Flow solution and more than halved the quantity of profile necessary to cover all references of beds. Loading support, unloading support, side frame and intermediate beam now require only a single profile each. The same profile can be used as loading support and end stop for drop out tray versions. Plastic clips are no longer needed. The new design of the loading and unloading support allows a flush mounting method in order to fix a pick-to-light-system in a continuous way, boosting the pick rate per hour.

With a maximum load of 150 kg/m², all standard applications in the market are covered. Deep-freeze applications are possible as well. The Carton Wheel Flow solution is available in various widths (up to 3,600 mm) and depths (up to 5,500 mm for configurable versions and up to 12,000 mm for engineered solutions) to meet all requirements of common racking systems.

Picking goods is part of the daily routine in a warehouse. However, when cartons and containers of different sizes must be stored and picked, Interroll’s Carton Versi Flow is a highly effective solution. It consists of pre-assembled wheel-bed modules designed to simply convert most pallet rack structures or strengthen Kanban and assembly lines into dynamic, versatile flow storage systems. It can accommodate cartons of all sizes without the need for track and guide re-configuration, enabling users to achieve optimum space utilisation and efficient storage on a first-in, first-out principle (FIFO). Carton Versi Flow also fits perfectly into existing shelving systems: The continuous modules with aluminum brackets are compatible with all common rack crossbars and enable very high density storage with up to 90 percent space utilization.

While the shelves are loaded on the feed side, goods are simultaneously removed on the output side. This assures an efficient and error-free picking process. Interroll Carton Versi Flow guarantees quick access to the items and ergonomically improved storage and output of goods at operating temperatures between -30 degrees Celsius and +45 degrees Celsius.
